Shipping and returns
Shipping in Canada, clearly explained.
See the cost, fulfillment timeline, tracking, delivery steps and return rules before you order.

Where does GPC ship?
GPC accepts orders for delivery to Canadian addresses only.
Three useful facts before you order:
- Prices and shipping charges are shown in Canadian dollars. GST/HST is calculated for the delivery address at checkout.
- Every parcel sent to a customer is prepared and shipped from GPC’s Canadian warehouse.
- The catalog shows the fulfillment source and estimated lead time for each item before you place the order.
You can review the cost, source and estimated timing together before payment.
Delivery estimates are planning windows, not guaranteed arrival dates.
What does shipping cost?
Standard shipping is CAD $34.99. It is free when the merchandise subtotal reaches CAD $999 before tax. The minimum order is CAD $250 in merchandise after discounts, before shipping and tax.
Both thresholds use the merchandise subtotal after discounts. GST/HST is based on the delivery address and appears at checkout. If items from different fulfillment sources become ready at different times, they may arrive in separate shipments. You are still charged shipping only once for the order.

Which fulfillment source should I choose?
- Choose based on how much you need and when you need it.
- The price for the same product format and quantity is the same from either fulfillment source.
- The inventory available at the local warehouse can change quickly and typically does not support large order volumes.
Product availability is shown separately in our catalog for each fulfilment source.
A 10-vial research kit can be selected only when at least ten vials remain in the source you choose.
Canadian warehouse
Best for small orders and individual research sample vial orders that are time-sensitive. Our local Canadian warehouse has product ready to ship to your research facility. Inventory quantities available from our local warehouse are limited and change quickly as orders are placed.
GPC Distribution Center
Best for large orders of multiple research kits for planned procurement. Full payment is selected by default, with an optional 50% initial and 50% before-dispatch schedule. The selected initial payment starts preparation and the delivery timeline. Distribution Center orders land first at our Canadian warehouse for final verification, labelling and packing, followed by up to 5 business days for final delivery.
What happens after I place an order?
Your checkout and order-status page keep the important details together.
- 01
Review the complete order
Before the payment request, checkout shows the products, fulfillment source, estimate, shipping charge and destination taxes.
- 02
Choose your method and complete the initial payment
Choose Interac e-Transfer or a Stripe payment link. Checkout defaults to full payment and offers the installment schedule when eligible. The invoice shows the selected schedule, full order total, exact amount due now and any later Distribution Center balance. An Interac request with no confirmed payment expires after 72 hours. Stripe orders remain open for payment verification; do not pay again while a successful payment is awaiting confirmation. Confirmed partial payments keep the order open, but processing waits until the required initial amount is complete.
- 03
Preparation and split delivery begin
The source-specific timeline begins after the selected initial payment is matched. Local items may ship first; when installments were selected, the remaining Distribution Center balance is due before those items receive final carrier tracking.
How can I track my order?
Your private order-status page is the clearest record of what has happened and what comes next.
If an order ships in more than one parcel, the status page records each final shipment separately. Carrier scans and delivery events are controlled by the carrier.
- Before shipment
- Time-stamped preparation milestones
- Long preparation window
- Periodic confirmation that the order is active
- After dispatch
- Carrier and tracking number
- Completed status
- Shipped, not necessarily delivered
What should I check before delivery?
A correct address and prompt pickup help prevent avoidable delivery problems.
Confirm the delivery address
Use a complete address where the carrier can deliver. If something is wrong, contact GPC as soon as possible. A redirect or address correction is not guaranteed after carrier handoff.
Plan to retrieve the parcel promptly
Once the carrier delivers or attempts delivery, prompt pickup and appropriate storage become your responsibility. Carrier return and reshipment costs may apply when an address is incorrect or a parcel is refused or not collected.
How is material handled before it ships?
Inventory at GPC’s Canadian warehouse is stored at −20 °C or colder, with moisture control and protection from ambient light. These conditions help protect accepted inventory while it remains in GPC’s custody.
GPC adjusts selected vials gradually under monitored conditions before labelling and packing instead of exposing them to a sudden temperature change.
Retrieve the parcel promptly and move the material into your facility’s appropriate cold, dark and dry storage after delivery.

What should I do when the package arrives?
A quick inspection protects your order record and helps GPC resolve any problem faster.
Do not use material if its label is missing, unreadable or inconsistent with the order. Keep the packaging and contact support in writing.
Inspect the parcel
Check the outside of the parcel and the contents for visible damage as soon as possible.
Confirm the contents
Compare the product, fill amount and vial quantity with your order.
Verify each vial
Make sure every label is present and readable, then match the lot number to the published lot page.
Store it promptly
Move the material into appropriate cold, dark and dry storage.
What if the shipment is late, damaged or incorrect?
Contact GPC in writing so the details stay with the order record. Preserve the parcel, packaging and vials while the issue is reviewed.
A delivered carrier scan does not prevent a reasonable review of documented loss or misdelivery. GPC will help with the carrier investigation and then confirm whether replacement, reshipment, refund or another remedy applies.
Damage, a wrong item or suspected loss
Send the order number, tracking reference, a short description and relevant photographs. Include the lot number when the issue involves a vial or label. Do not send anything back unless GPC gives written instructions.
An item is still undelivered
If an item has not arrived within 30 days after the end of the delivery estimate shown at checkout, you may cancel that undelivered item for a refund. Accepting a later delivery ends that cancellation right for the item received.
Can a shipped vial be returned?
Shipped vials cannot be returned for restocking or resale.
After a vial leaves GPC, its seal, storage temperature and handling can no longer be verified. That is why GPC never places a shipped vial back into saleable inventory.
If GPC or the carrier made an error, report it. GPC will review the order and determine whether replacement, reshipment, refund or another remedy applies. Do not return material unless GPC provides written instructions.
Independent laboratory testing is a separate process, not a return. If you want GPC to credit eligible testing of a vial from your order, obtain written approval through the GPC Verification Program before sending the vial for analysis.
