This policy supplements the Research Use Policy by identifying transactions, uses and representations that Glacier Pure Compounds will not support. A breach is a material breach of the Terms.
Prohibited uses and representations
- Administration to or consumption by any human or animal, in any form, including compounding, formulation, diagnosis, treatment or prevention.
- Clinical, cosmetic, wellness, bodybuilding, athletic-performance or any other personal use, and use as an ingredient or component of any food, drug, cosmetic, natural health product or medical device.
- Any representation that a GPC product is intended or suitable for human or veterinary use, or that GPC, its officers, employees or documents have approved, endorsed or indicated such use.
- Resale or transfer to an unqualified recipient, purchasing on behalf of a person the Research Use Policy would not qualify, and relabelling or repackaging that obscures research-use restrictions, identity or lot traceability.
- False, incomplete or misleading statements of age, identity, qualifications, facilities, authority or intended use, including a purchase for personal use presented as laboratory research.
- Use that violates law, professional obligations, institutional rules, sanctions, transport controls or safe-laboratory requirements.
- Requests for dosing, cycle, injection, reconstitution-for-administration or outcome advice, and presenting any GPC document or catalogue fact as an approval, endorsement or indication of suitability for human or veterinary use.
- Preparing, relabelling or presenting material for administration, clinical or diagnostic use; using a teaching, calibration, reagent or reference-material description to conceal a prohibited purpose. Analytical sample preparation for a permitted method remains subject to identity, traceability and safety requirements.
Order review and enforcement
GPC may request information reasonably needed to assess the actual research context, including the responsible end user, qualifications, facilities, authority and intended work. GPC may refuse, hold or cancel an order if the response is absent, inconsistent or indicates a prohibited purpose. A research-use checkbox does not override contrary information in an order, communication or other available evidence. Relevant correspondence and decisions may be retained under the Privacy Policy. Suspected misuse may result in termination of catalogue access. The purchaser-caused claims covered by the indemnity in the Terms remain subject to its exclusions and limits.
Products are for the purchaser’s permitted laboratory work. Except for transfer to a qualified analytical service provider solely to test the purchaser’s material for a permitted purpose, no resale or transfer outside the purchaser’s organization is allowed without GPC’s written agreement. The purchaser must communicate use restrictions and relevant hazard information, preserve identity and lot traceability during any sample preparation, and comply with packaging and transport requirements. GPC-funded testing remains subject to the Verification Program’s separate written pre-approval and evidence requirements. No agreement by GPC authorizes an unlawful transfer or a prohibited use.
